Heritage Auctions has announced the upcoming auction of the prototype controller of the Nintendo PlayStation, scheduled to take place between August 22 and 24, 2024. This is not the first time such an auction has occurred, with the last one in 2020 concluding at $360,000. Interest in this rare accessory and its peripherals has only increased since then, setting the stage for what is expected to be a highly competitive auction.
