Abathor is a new indie action platformer by Pow Pixel Games and published by Jandu Soft. It will be released on July 25th for PC and consoles, including Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. The game is inspired by classic hack ‘n’ slash titles like Golden Axe and Rastan Saga, featuring bright pixel art and a retro soundtrack from the ’80s and ’90s. Players can pick from four characters—barbarian Cрантор, Valkyrie Sais, assassin Kritias, and warlock Azaes—to save Atlantis from monsters and win back the gods’ favor. While there is a single-player mode, the game focuses on cooperative play, with a special feature where players compete for loot to boost their powers.
