New issues of Amiga and Pixel Addict out now

The latest issues of Amiga Addict and Pixel Addict are out now both packed with retro nostalgia and insights into video game culture. Amiga Addict includes articles on Virtuality, a range of VR arcade games from back in 1990. The article takes a look at how Amiga hardware was used to give players virtual worlds to explore. It also has an interview with Bob Koon, who was at Westwood Studios for the AGA release of Dune II.

There is also some insight from Team 17’s Ashley Day looking at its new release, Worms Armageddon: Anniversary Edition. David Cruickshank is raising money for a good cause and has created this issue’s coverdisk featuring a full game called Alien Fish Finger.

In regards to Issue 24 of Pixel Addict magazine, Phil South is charting the history of Microprose and has interviewed Bruce Shelley and Jeff Briggs about their time at the company. There is an exclusive look at Urb-X Warriors, a new game for the Spectrum Next and a look back at Commander Keen developed by industry legends John Romero and John Carmack. There is also the homebrew roundup for Marc Jowett and a look at Sonic GX for the Amstrad.

Both magazines can be purchased now at the Addict website.
