Spindle is a new action-adventure title inspired by the retro classics of yesteryear. It’s being developed by Wobble Ghost and will be published by Deck13. A new trailer showing many of the game’s elements gives players a glimpse of what can be expected when it arrives on Steam and Switch. Although no firm release date has been set, the game is expected sometime in 2025.
The game’s story centers around the Grim Reaper who players control in a universe falling apart. As the end of time draws near, the Grim Reaper goes on an epic journey to put things right and restore the balance between life and death. He is joined by a pink pig who helps explore the lands of this beautifully crafted world.
Spindle contains many classic gameplay tropes such as puzzles, exploring dungeons and overcoming obstacles and enemies. The graphics are presented in detailed pixel art that will satisfy retro adventure fans. Everything from peaceful conversations with townsfolk to intense, epic boss battles has been covered in this exciting upcoming title.
