Retro-inspired FPS Mother Hub finally has release date

Mother Hub is a new Steam FPS heavily influenced by the classics such as Doom, Quake and Half-Life. The game has been in development for many years but now developer Seth O’Dale has announced the retro-styled blaster will be released to Steam on 23rd April 2025. The game is set inside a huge vault where humanity is trapped following a mystery plague. Since this apocalypse, mutated creatures have evolved and is up to players to survive the horror that ensues.

The game features all the usual futuristic weaponry players would expect and this is laid out by discovering new technologies lost over the time humans have been locked away. The environments are based on quintessential horror elements of decay, darkness and encroaching plant life following years of the vault’s neglect.

In a press statement, Seth said. “With the final beta underway and a scheduled release date of April 23rd 2025, I’m thrilled to launch Mother Hub into the world. I’m deeply grateful to everyone who contributed their time and support to make this dream a reality.” We’re happy for Seth and will bring a preview of Mother Hub soon.
