SNES title Justice Ninja Casey announced for consoles and PC

Justice Ninja Casey is a side-scrolling beat ‘em-up released by Sunsoft in 1994. It was a Japanese-exclusive game up until now where retro publisher Ratalaika Games has announced it will release to modern consoles and PC on the 28th of February 2025. The game has been translated for release to English-speaking areas and now Justice Ninja Casey will enjoy finding a new audience with 90s brawler fans. It will be on Switch, PlayStation, Xbox and Steam priced at around $6.

The new release will include two game modes, a light RPG-style quest mode featuring branching stages and level-ups as well as equipment management and secondary quests to complete. It will also have the classic action mode. Two players will be able to play locally and enjoy many quality-of-life features added to the package. Players will be able to select different screen filters to give a retro vibe. There is also a rewind and turbo function as well as save states. Those struggling can use the added cheat menu. A bonus art gallery is included that features original box art, manuals and design documents. Finally, a jukebox is included with 30 music tracks from the game.
