Edia has announced that the classic fighting game Cho Aniki: Bakuretsu Rantou Hen will launch for Nintendo Switch in Japan on June 19, 2025. The game will be available both physically and digitally, priced at 4,290 yen.
Originally released for the Super Famicom in 1995 and later on PC via Project EGG in 2014, this Switch port includes modern enhancements such as:
- Rewind feature
- Screen filters
- Sound Mode
- Visual Mode
- Commands list display for fighting game moves
The game features eight characters competing in the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament hosted by the Super Messiah on planet NCS. Familiar series characters like Idaten Benten and Adon Samson return, each with unique special moves.
A trailer showcasing the Switch version has also been released as part of the announcement.
