Feudal Bros – Tonosama #1 Available In English For The First Time

Feudal Bros – Tonosama #1, a previously Japan-exclusive 16-bit beat ‘em up, is being released to other countries for the first time thanks to retro publisher Ratalaika Games and developer Shinyuden. Sunsoft, the game’s original development team, are also on board for this special release. The game is now available on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and Steam and is priced at $5.99.

In the game, players take control of two idiotic princes on an adventure to solve a mystery after their fathers are killed. There was lasting peace, but that now seems to hang in the balance with only our stupid princes on the case. Each prince has their own unique skills, and two players can team up locally. The new release includes a rewind/turbo function that will allow players to repeat something until they achieve perfection, or speed things up.

There is also a save state function to add some quality of life, as well as screen filters to give that pixel-perfect retro feel. There is also a jukebox to listen to the game’s soundtrack and an art gallery with original manual material and box art. The final feature is for those who may be struggling to finish Feudal Bros – Tonosama #1, a cheat menu that will make your mission a lot easier, including infinite lives and invulnerability.
