Pixel Art Adventure Lucy Dreaming Getting Funny on PlayStation this Month

Lucy Dreaming is a pixel-art point-and-click adventure released on PC, Xbox, and Switch. The uber-British comedy capper is now getting a port to PlayStation 4 and 5, which is set to release on the 31st of July 2025. The game has been developed by Tall Story Games, which is currently working on another pixel art adventure Hair of the Dog. Lucy Dreaming received critical acclaim when it was initially released, and it’s great to hear that more players will now be able to play this fine example of Britishness.

It’s not just a release to PlayStation that will please retro adventure fans either. Lucy Dreaming is also getting a huge update that will allow language options for French, Spanish, and Italian players, alongside the already included English and German. The new language options also take into account regional humour and cultural quirks, so it remains funny.

Lucy Dreaming’s lead developer, Tom Hardwidge, said. “We’re absolutely thrilled to bring Lucy Dreaming to new audiences. It’s been a joy watching players fall in love with Lucy’s story, and we can’t wait to share her world with a whole new audience of gamers. We’ve poured so much heart into this game, and we’re excited for more people to experience its humour, puzzles, and charm for the first time.”
