We brought you the news of retro-inspired Nice Day for Fishing’s physical release. Since then, publisher Team 17 has announced the pixel art cozy title will be casting a net and reeling in some on Xbox later in 2025. The game has been a surprise hit with gamers following its early summer release.
In a press statement, Team17 Digital and developer FusionPlay said. “Our hit pixel fishing adventure title, Nice Day for Fishing, is finally coming to Xbox Series X|S. Fans of the much-loved YouTube comedy group, Viva La Dirt League, will not need to wait long as the release is set to drop later this year.”
It was also announced at Gamescom that there will be a huge free content update on the way, including seasonal events, new fearsome and intimidating enemies and additional customisation options, such as sails to give your boat a fresh look and new outfits for Baelin, so he can save the day in style.
