Pixel Art RPG Muffles’ Life Sentence Episode 4 Now On Steam

Muffles’ Life Sentence Episode 4 is the fourth installment of developer BossyPino and publisher Black Lantern Collective’s 2D RPG title. It’s out now on Steam, priced at $4.99, and continues the story of the series’ world of dark humour, unique characters, and deck-building card combat. Since its release earlier this year, Muffles’ Life Sentence has been recognised for its dark humour, distinctive characters, and creative use of card mechanics to tell its story.

In part one, Detective Petty Puddles and the Case of the Dead Guy on a Train, players investigate the murder of a well-known frontman during a late-night journey up Mt Hyup. The train is packed with emo fans and death-metal performers, creating an unusual mix of suspects to question as the case unfolds. The story then moves to the Mad Ox theatre for Tzino’s Battle, where you enter the battle of the bands competition to face Carungus in the finals for a shot at stardom.

Episode 4 adds new cards, items, and mechanics that expand the game’s deck-based combat, along with a range of new characters and equipment to discover. Players can expect small surprises throughout, including the new Muffles hat, which isn’t technically a hat.

Key features:

Story-Driven: Follow Muffles through a world filled with unique personalities, where each episode adds new layers and elements to the story, such as new characters and new challenges to face
