Retroware has announced that three of its pixel art titles will be getting the physical treatment as part of a collaboration with Limited Run Games. The announcement was part of Limited Run Games’ 10th anniversary broadcast and should all be available in 2026. The 45-minute-long celebration showcased an array of upcoming titles from the physical publisher, and we’ve shared the YouTube video below for readers to see all the games alongside Retroware’s offerings.
The first game that will be available for pre-order from November 4th, 2025, is Retroware’s classic platformer, The Angry Video Game Nerd 8-Bit. The game is already out on digital storefronts, and we gave our impressions in a recent post. The pre-orders will be for the Switch and PS5 ports, with a proper NES cart, from Mega Cat Studios will also be up for pre-order.
Two other Retroware titles that will be seeing physical pre-orders in the future are the upcoming Neon Inferno. Pre-orders for the Switch and PS5 editions will open on the Limited Run Games‘ online store shortly after the game’s digital launch on November 20th, 2025, running from Tuesday, November 25th, through Sunday, December 28th. The final title is the beat ‘em-up Toxic Crusaders, which is slated for a digital release in 2026, but will also get a physical pre-order through Limited Run Games.
