ModRetro Announces Two More Carts For Chromatic Handheld

ModRetro has been on a bit of a roll with new releases for its popular Chromatic handheld. The new Atari collection of carts was released just last month, and that was preceded by a release of Rayman’s 2000 outing on the GBC. Since then, we now have news coming through of another two carts that are available to buy now.

The first is Buck and the Cursed Cartridge, which ModRetro has described as GameStop’s favourite mammal. This new classic platformer features a rabbit trying to get back home after being cursed. The second title is a 25th anniversary edition of Croc for the GBC that was originally released in 2000 and was an adaptation of the main 3D titles.

Both games are available now to buy directly from ModRetro’s website, with some also being available to purchase from brick-and-mortar stores. ModRetro certainly knows how to keep the spirit of the GBC alive and well, and we look forward to more releases.

Details from the press release:

Buck and the Cursed Cartridge: Ever wanted a new action-platformer with hidden collectibles, mini games, secret worlds, references to gaming history… and guns? Buck is back, and he needs your help getting home.

Croc: 25th Anniversary Edition: Originally inspired by Yoshi and adapted from a 3D console format, Croc is back with a 25th Anniversary Edition that delivers outstanding visuals, upgraded controls, and enhanced save function.
