The Rogue Prince of Persia Leaps To Nintendo Plus Physical Editions

The Rogue Prince of Persia was released for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation in 2025. The game was a big success for developer Evil Empire and publisher Ubisoft, receiving many positive reviews from players and critics. Now, the side-scrolling action platformer is leaping onto Nintendo consoles with a Switch and Switch 2 release happening on December 16th, 2025.

Optimized for handheld and hybrid play, the Switch versions will feature all content from the 1.0 release, including a variety of biomes, weapons, medallions, and a reimagined art direction. Players will be able to enjoy fluid combat, dynamic parkour, and a rich narrative of redemption wherever they go.

In addition to the digital console releases, publishing partner U&I Entertainment today announced that The Rogue Prince of Persia physical Standard and Immortal Editions will launch for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 on April 10, 2026. The Immortal Edition includes the full game, a double-sided poster, and a set of fine art cards showcasing stunning imagery from the game on one side, with the reverse sides combining to form part of a game world map, all housed in a premium SteelBook case with sleeve.

“We’re thrilled to bring The Rogue Prince of Persia to Nintendo Switch players,” said Lucie Dewagnier, Game Director at Evil Empire. “The game’s fast-paced action and replayability make it a perfect fit for hybrid play. We can’t wait to see players dive into the Prince’s journey on the go.”
