Bomb Bee has been announced as this week’s release in Hamster Corporation’s Arcade Archives and Arcade Archives 2 lines of emulated arcade titles, following on from last week’s release of Galactic Warriors, on which we previously reported.

The game is a brick breaker that was originally released into arcades by Namco way back in 1979! It is the sequel to Gee Bee, which itself was a recent Arcade Archives release, as we previously reported.

Hamster Corporation had this to say about Bomb Bee: “The biggest feature of this sequel to Gee Bee, as its title suggests, is the bomb! Find the hidden bombs in the playfield, set off explosions, and aim for a high score! Like its predecessor, this title also supports mouse control. Let’s Bomb Bee with simple controls!”

The Arcade Archives release of Bomb Bee will be released onto Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 tomorrow (November 20th), priced at $7.99, with the Arcade Archives 2 version being released on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, priced at $9.99. As usual, those who buy the Arcade Archives version on Nintendo Switch can upgrade to the Arcade Archives 2 version on Nintendo Switch 2 for $2.99, and those who buy the Arcade Archives version on PlayStation 4 can upgrade to the Arcade Archives 2 version on PlayStation 5 for $2.99.
