Pixel Art Desktop Game Tiny Aquarium Fishes Out New DLC

We first reported on Tiny Aquarium back in June, and now the desktop cozy fish game has its first major update. Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping is a cozy fish tank game that lets players grow fish in real time and sits at the bottom of the screen while they work, or join social lobbies to fish together.

Created by Lunheim Studios and published by Future Friends Games, it currently has over 1,780 reviews and an overwhelmingly positive Steam rating since it launched in June, and the new free DLC is looking to make the experience even better. The Swamplands update introduces a brand new fishing area called The Swamp, 11 new species of fish, and 10 new decorations for the tank.

Tiny Aquarium: Social Fishkeeping is a real-time online aquarium simulator where players can hatch and sell fish, decorate their aquariums, go fishing, and visit friends’ aquatic spaces. The game encourages daily engagement with bite-sized sessions that are designed to be relaxing and rewarding without the stress of timers.
