Dave the Diver created quite the splash when it was first released to PC back in 2023. Since then, the pixel art title has swam to further shores with ports to Switch and PlayStation in 2024. Now, developer Mintrocket has made a surprising catch and released Dave the Diver to Xbox. It’s available right now and was part of this week’s Xbox Partner Showcase. That’s all the news that has been coming from Mintrocket about its critically acclaimed diving adventure.
The next piece of news will be very welcome to fans of the game, as Dive the Diver is getting its first DLC titled Into the Jungle. It is due for release later in 2025 and will feature more adventures, exotic locations, and surprises to explore. And the news for Dave the Diver fans just keeps coming in waves, as there was also news that PlayStation 5 and Switch 2 physical editions, featuring the main game as well as the DLC, will be released in 2026. This interested in pre-ordering a physical can sign up for publisher Silver Lining‘s notifications.
“For Dave, Xbox is the final frontier, and we’re thrilled to welcome Xbox Series players into the adventure today,” said Jaeho Hwang, director of Dave the Diver. “Fans around the world have embraced Dave and his wonderfully chaotic crew, and we can’t wait for a whole new community to dive not only into the base game, but the DLCs that have helped shape the game world into one that keeps fans coming back.”
