It has been three years since Meg’s Monsters, the critically acclaimed pixel art adventure from developer Odencat, was released to Switch, Xbox, and Steam. Now, the fan favourite is getting a new storyline in a DLC titled Lost Memories. The new pack will be available on all versions from December 4th, 2025.
In a press statement, Odencat said. “Where it all started! Meg’s Monster hit the scene nearly 3 years ago with its own unique adventure style that garnered great reviews and coverage from many top media outlets. With its well-written story and endearing, and some say emotional pull, it quickly became a much-talked-about title! Meg’s Monster: Lost Memories is a collection of short prequel adventures that expand upon the world and lore of Meg’s Monster.”
“We hope the DLC will allow those who loved Meg’s Monster to delve even deeper into this world. Although the tone is considerably more serious than the main story, we hope you’ll enjoy it,” said Odencat Developer Ryota. “This time, the content focuses on depicting the pasts of multiple characters. During production, we created a timeline to reorganize the chronological order of events involving the characters and the world, and clarified the happenings and movements within the underworld.”
