Pixel Art Budget Title Milo’s Dream Out Now On Consoles

Milo’s Dream is the latest budget release from Retro News favourites Ratalaika Games and developer lightUP. The pixel art adventure is out now on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, priced at $5.99. Players take control of Milo, a very brave, smart, and playful dog. Only he can defeat the cruel King Big Flea and his evil henchmen, who are terrorizing the fairy kingdom.

Players will have four magical areas to explore, each with branching locations. They’ll solve challenging puzzles, defeat dangerous enemies, and collect dog bones to earn special new abilities. There is also the option of a co-op mode, so a friend can join the quest. This is another great-looking budget title from Ratalaika Games, who have also released Jelly & Toast as well as Dino Land recently.

We always say that it’s great to see smaller developers get a chance to release games to larger audiences, and we’ll continue to report on as many budget indie releases as we can, especially if they have a great retro aesthetic like Milo’s Dream.
