We first reported on Tokyo Clanpool, an old-school dungeon RPG, way back in November 2024. Since then, the game has been released both digitally and physically, but a new physical version is being produced especially for PC players. Pre-orders for the special uncut version will open January 22nd, 2026, with an off-site patch available for GOG players. Tokyo Clanpool has been developed by Compile Heart and Idea Factory, and this Uncut Edition will be published exclusively by EastAsiaSoft.
This updated release of Tokyo Clanpool restores all the original content from the Japanese version of the game and will include faithful localization in English and Traditional Chinese text. Additionally, for those who already own the GOG release of Tokyo Clanpool digitally, an off-site patch will be made available to restore content that was removed from previous versions of the game.
The game will be included on a uniquely branded USB drive along with a soundtrack CD, art book, poster, sticker sheets, acrylic character standees, and numbered certificate in a collector’s box, priced at $49.99 plus shipping. Fulfillment is expected in early 2026. Only 1000 units will be produced.
This news of the PC physical also comes at the same time that EastAsiaSoft confirmed the cancellation of Tokyo Clanpool’s release for Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe, making Tokyo Clanpool Uncut Edition for PC the definitive physical option for collectors.
