Pot Smashing Pixel Art RPG Eldor’Idle Announced

Eldo’Idle is a new pixel art RPG that focuses on the “best part” of them…breaking pots! Yes, if you ever imagined your own Zelda pot smash ‘em-up then now is your chance. The game has not been given an official release date as of yet, but a new demo has been released on Steam for those wanting to collect some gems and release some anger on the poor pottery. Eldo’Idle is being developed by Nautlander, with publishing duties being handled by Future Friends Games.

The developer has described the game as “an incremental RPG about breaking pots to become a billionaire”. A new trailer accompanying the demo release shows exactly what this quirky title is all about, and RPG fans who enjoy pixel art and fun humour will probably want to get this one on their wishlists.

In a press statement, Future Friends Games said. “Eldor’Idle takes the best part of every RPG (breaking pots, obviously) and takes it to number-go-up extremes. Click on pots to earn a coin. Unlock new houses, increase the value of pots, outsource the breaking to gnomes, and snowball all the way to a billion coin fortune… one click at a time.”

Eldor’Idle is a deceptively simple incremental idle RPG. Seeking a fortune, players have come to the quaint town of Eldor’Idle, where citizens sit around in their houses all day. The houses have pots filled with coins. Coins can be used to unlock upgrades, new buildings, equipment, and more. Players can then hire gnomes to break the pots on their behalf, and train them up to increase speed, strength, and efficiency.
