Zelda Classics Album and Session Recording Now Available On Vinyl

Zelda Classics is a classical reimagining of iconic Legend of Zelda music by Sixth Station Trio, recorded live at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and with the entire session viewable online. The new album can be listened to on many streaming services and pre-ordered on vinyl, with an expected shipping date of October 2026. The team also said they were “excited” to share a video presentation of the entire album to get an up-close look at the artistry behind the music.

Featuring sixteen arrangements for piano, cello, and violin, each reinterpretation leans into emotion and storytelling. The Sixth Station Trio’s sound evokes classical recital halls and film scores alike, balancing softness and power while allowing each melody room to breathe.

Zelda Classics is our way of bridging our passion for video game music with our passion for classical music,” comments the trio’s pianist, Katelyn Tan. “We want to encourage more people to get into classical music, and we hope blending chamber music with video game music allows listeners to hear their favorite tunes done in a classical style and seek out more. We carefully crafted each arrangement so that there were musical elements that stayed true to the original pieces, but also included aspects that were influenced by our classical backgrounds and training.”
