Warhammer Classic Tabletop Game Blood Bowl Goes Digital

Warhammer Blood Bowl is a new turn-based tactical game based on the tabletop game from Games Workshop. The game has been developed by Cyanide Studio, alongside publisher Nacon, who has revealed the latest entry in the series will be based on the latest rules for the tabletop game. Warhammer Blood Bowl will be released on Xbox, PlayStation, and PC in early Spring 2026. For those who can’t wait, a new demo, featuring the rumble mode, will launch on March 18th, 2026.

Set in the Warhammer universe, the game offers a strategic and brutal experience in which players take control of a team chosen from the many available factions, customize it, and develop it by competing against other players online. This new adaptation will introduce two new factions and deliver a content-rich experience that will continue to evolve through a seasonal system.

Incidentally, this new adaptation will be free for all players who already own Blood Bowl 3, who will keep their accounts along with all the content they have purchased or unlocked in-game. This is great news for those already invested in the series and will mean there is already a potential player base ready to jump onto the new game.
