Metroidvania Voidwrought Gets Physical Console Release

Voidwrought

Voidwrought is a Metroidvania title from developer Powersnake and publisher Kwalee. It was released digitally in 2004, but now has a physical PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch release thanks to physical specialist SelectaPlay. In a press statement, SelectaPlay said. “The cosmic horror Metroidvania arrives at retail with Standard and Special Editions available today at specialist stores.” In the game, players will descend into icy tunnels, biomechanical ruins, and the corrupted revelry of the Court, uncovering secrets, artefacts, and horrors beneath the star-scorched surface.

Fans can choose between the boxed Standard Edition and the Special Edition, crafted for those looking to fully immerse themselves in the world of Voidwrought. Housed in a beautifully designed collector’s box with exclusive artwork, the Special Edition includes a full boxed copy of Voidwrought, CD soundtrack featuring the game’s haunting score, three character magnets, an embroidered patch, and a metallic pin.
