We reported on Scott Pilgrim EX, a new brawler based on the cult film, back in January. The news contained information that a physical release would accompany the digital release, although we had no further information at the time. Now, publisher iam8bit has confirmed they will be producing the physical edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch, with pre-orders open now. Alongside the actual game, a new vinyl LP soundtrack is also available to pre-order.

Scott Pilgrim EX is a brand-new adventure where you’ll venture out on epic quests and battle new enemies and bosses across interconnected levels in a new story by series creator Bryan Lee O’Malley.”

Those interested in the record may wish to hurry up and get their pre-orders in, as iam8bit has stipulated that “this record does not follow our typical open pre-order window, so the initial quantity available by Q3 2026 may sell out”. The game has been out digitally on Steam, Xbox, Switch, and PlayStation since March 3rd, 2026, and received positive reviews from critics and fans.
