Fallout: Tactics-inspired Dustwind: Resistence Gets Second New DLC Pack

Dustwind: Resistance is a single-player tactical title developed by Dustwind Studios and published by Z-Software for Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation in June 2025. Now, a new DLC pack, titled Tunnels of Death, is set to be released in June 2026 and will be the game’s second following Canyon Cross.

The game is set in a post-apocalyptic world, combining real-time combat with the ability to pause and plan at any time. Lead a small squad against an invading army, make tough tactical decisions, and do whatever it takes to protect your people and your way of life. Dustwind: Resistance is inspired by Fallout Tactics; the game takes players into an isometric world where survival is the top priority.

Tunnels of Death is set 20 years before the events of the main campaign and puts you in the role of Jake’s father, Harlan, alongside Bob McCoy, Sgt. Perkins and Governor Rodriguez are in their prime. The Tunnel of Death DLC offers an average playtime of four hours, introduces new gameplay mechanics and mutants, and delivers four new missions and a new weapon.

The players’ squad is trapped in a gang-ridden neighbourhood, and the only escape route leads through the abandoned underground tunnels. But something far worse lurks in their suffocating darkness. Distorted by time and decay, death has taken on new, horrific forms and hunts the player’s team through every passageway.
