Hack ‘N’ Slash Middle Evil: The Priest Out Now On Consoles

Middle Evil: The Priest is a 2024 hack ‘n’ slash title from developer diedemor studio, originally released on Steam. Now, retro publisher Ratalaika Games has picked up the game and ported it to Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4. Middle Evil: The Priest is out now, priced at $5.99. The game comes at a time when Ratalaika Games is bolstering its budget output of games and is once again shining a light on smaller development studios that may not always get the exposure they deserve.

The game centers around a righteous young priest who arrives at a remote village in the Middle Ages to cleanse the local church from evil infestation. Players will take up their holy weapons to battle with skeletons, ghosts, vampires, and other invading demonic creatures. They’ll get assistance from the villagers and the underworld alike, sing prayers, and work divine miracles. Players will need to survive seven nights of onslaught and rid the church of demonic possession.
