Virtual Boy’s Nintendo Classics catalog launched with seven titles on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 for members of Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack back in February, as we reported at the time.
And as of today (May 14, 2026), five more Virtual Boy titles have been added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service’s Nintendo Classics catalog.
The five additional Virtual Boy titles are: V-Tetris; Jack Bros.; Space Invaders Virtual Collection; Virtual Bowling; and Vertical Force.
Today’s additions bring the total number of Virtual Boy games available on Nintendo Switch 2’s Switch Online + Expansion Pack Nintendo Classics collection to 12, and as only 22 games were ever released in total for Nintendo’s short-lived quirky console, today’s releases suggest that we may only have two more drops of Virtual Boy games still to come to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, at which point the Virtual Boy’s entire back caralog will be playable on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
Just a reminder: in order to play Virtual Boy titles on your Nintendo Switch or Nintendo Switch 2, not only will you require a current membership to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, but you will also need the Virtual Boy for Nintendo Switch 2/Nintendo Switch accessory in either its standard or cardboard form.
