Pixel Art Browser MMORPG Soulbound Gearing Up For A Steam Outing

Soulbound is a web-based MMORPG that has had more than one million players since its launch. Now, developer Spiderware has begun porting the game to Steam, where it will no doubt find an even larger player base. Soulbound was originally launched for browsers and Discord and mixes roguelite combat with co-op gameplay. Players can create a character, start a guild, and join the fight against the enigmatic Anima in this colorful digital reality.

Upon awakening in their new digital reality, players will face The Anima–a collection of malevolent entities set on their destruction. However, hope isn’t lost, as a friendly robotic companion rescues them from imminent death and sets them on a new course: one that leads towards the destruction of The Anima. Players will work from their home base–a humble apartment to upgrade salvaged materials and craft new equipment. When character and kit are ready, they’ll traverse dungeons to hone their combat skills against swarms of enemies and procedurally escalating boss encounters.
