Brave Rounds is a new arcade shooter from developer PlayShift Games, out now on Steam and Switch. The developer has described Brave Rounds as a “strategic shoot ’em up” that uses “fast-paced, close-range-heavy vertical scrolling bullet-hell” gameplay.
Inspired by the intensity and style of 2000s arcade shooters and featuring classic anime aesthetics, Brave Rounds challenges players to charge directly into danger, rewarding courage, precision, and mastery of the game mechanics.
Set in the occult-infused sci-fi world of 20XX, players must confront a mysterious cult threatening to trigger the eruption of Mt. Krakatoa. Whether playing solo or teaming up with a friend, players will battle through overwhelming enemy fire in a desperate fight to save the world.
