Arashi Gaiden is a pixel art turn-based action game from developer Statera and publisher Nuntius Games. It was originally released on Steam in 2025, but is now slashing out on PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, Series S and Series X, as well as Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 on June 11th, 2026. According to the developer Arishi Gaiden, “features a unique combination of elements from multiple genres, making the experience truly one of a kind”.
The game is set in the same universe as Pocket Bravery, combining tactical combat, intense storytelling, and strategic decision-making in carefully designed stages. With pixel art visuals and fluid animations, the game challenges players to find creative solutions to overcome each encounter. Arashi Gaiden aims to deliver an experience where planning and execution go hand in hand, giving players countless possibilities to complete each challenge in unique and inventive ways.
The artist Guilherme “Gaiden” Cyriaco, responsible for the game’s animations and pixel art, celebrated the moment with an emotional message, saying, “I am genuinely happy that the audience will finally be able to experience our work on all consoles. I am very excited for console players to experience Arashi Gaiden, and we hope they enjoy it as much as the PC.” Jonathan Silva, CEO of Nuntius and Statera, added, “It is an immense pleasure to release Arashi Gaiden on all consoles. This is another important milestone we have achieved as both a studio and a publisher.”
