GBC Adventure Quest Arrest Investigates On Consoles This Week

Quest Arrest is a new budget title from retro specialists Ratalaika Games. The game, from developer John Rioux of The Retro Room Games, was originally released on GBC carts before making the transition to Steam in 2024. Now, the classic adventure game is coming to modern platforms and will release on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PlayStation 4, priced at $4.99, on 10th July, 2026.

In Quest Arrest, players take the role of Detective Allison Bennett. A detective on a quest to clean up her city, Strange Meadows, after the recent crime spree that has thrown the community into chaos. Notorious gang leader Athena has been terrorizing the residents and has set her sights on taking over the city for herself. Will players play as a good cop or a bad cop by arresting criminals or simply taking them out?

This is another example of Ratalaika Games supporting solo developers to bring their games to larger audiences. We know The Retro Room Games’ releases are always great fun, so we wish Quest Arrest to have lots of success.
