Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure set to Strum out of the Console Archives Tomorrow

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure has been announced as this week’s release in Hamster Corporation’s line of emulated games from classic consoles for modern formats, following the release of T.R.A.G., on which we reported last week.

Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure is a musical RPG that was originally released on PlayStation by Nippon Ichi Software in 1998, later receiving a (modified) port to the Nintendo DS in 2008. This Console Archives release is the original PlayStation version of the game, or as Hamster Corporation puts it, the “32-bit home console” version.

Hamster Corporation summarizes Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure as: “a kingdom of dreams, hope, and adventure, “ adding, “welcome to Marl Kingdom,” and further describing the game as: “a musical RPG where Cornet, a girl with the magical power to befriend puppets, embarks on a journey to rescue a prince kidnapped by villains. Work together with the puppets who fight for Cornet as you progress through the journey!”

The Console Archives version of Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure will be released tomorrow (July 9th, 2026) on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, priced at $14.99 USD or local equivalent.

The original Japanese title of the game is: “Marl Okoku no Ningyo Hime,” which has the literal English translation of: “Puppet Princess of Marl Kingdom“.
