Donkey Kong Lego Set Details Leaked?

We have reported previously that Nintendo and Lego had teased a forthcoming Lego set themed around Nintendo’s simian legend, Donkey Kong. Since then, VGC has spotted posts regarding the Donkey Kong Lego set on the Reddit channel LegoLeak, so here’s what the Donkey Kong Lego set is rumored to offer: the set will reportedly consist of a total of 1367 pieces, including Donkey Kong (obviously), Jumpman (that’s Mario to you and me!), and “Lady,” who is presumably Pauline from the Donkey Kong game.

The Donkey Kong Lego set appears tp be based on the original Donkey Kong arcade game, with features said to include “steel girders,” a hammer, and a “continuous barrel-dropping function”. The Donkey Kong Lego set will also apparently offer a degree of interactivity, with claims of being able to make Jumpnan jump over the barrels by pulling a lever.

The dimensions of the Donkey Kong Lego set are reportedly 39cm height x 27cm width x 15cm depth.

The Donkey Kong Lego set will reportedly be released on August 1st, 2026, priced at $200 USD.

Just to reiterate, none of these details regarding the Donkey Kong Lego set have yet been confirmed by wither Nintendo or Lego, but, as VGC noted, the rumored release date would coincide with the 45th anniversary of the release of the original Donkey Kong arcade game.
