We first reported on Brigador Killers, a new isometric sim from developer Gausswerks and publisher Stellar Jockeys, earlier this year. At the time, a new demo had launched on Steam, and following a great reception from players who gave it a go, a release date for the full game into early access was announced. Brigador Killers will release on August 20th, 2026, on Steam and GOG.
Set on the world of Mar Nosso, Brigador Killers casts players as part of Team Anchor, an insurgent crew operating behind enemy lines to dismantle entrenched corporate power. Building on the tactical destruction and overwhelming firepower that defined Brigador: Up-Armored Edition, the game expands the series with on-foot combat, vehicle warfare, private arsenal-building, base development, and a more flexible mission structure.
The game also features an original soundtrack from Makeup and Vanity Set, returning to the world of Brigador with a new score built around the series’ heavy industrial atmosphere, synth-driven tension, and grimy science-fiction violence. The soundtrack helps anchor Brigador Killers’ world of corporate warfare, insurgency, and mechanical destruction, giving every firefight, getaway, and wreckage-strewn mission the same unmistakable pulse that helped define the original game.
“Years in the making, but the fun part is only just beginning. We can’t wait to build out Brigador Killers together with our players,” said Hugh Monahan, co-founder and designer at Stellar Jockeys.
