Following a vague online teaser released jointly by Lego and Nintendo, and leaked info posted to Reddit, on both of which we have reported previously, the Lego Donkey Kong Arcade set has finally been officially revealed, making its official public debut on day 1 of San Diego Comic Con, yesterday (July 23, 2026).
The Lego Donkey Kong Arcade set will be part of the Lego Super Mario Bros. line, and it will go on salenext week, on August 1, 2026, priced at $199.99 USD or local equivalent, with pre-orders open now on the Lego website.
The Lego Donkey Kong Arcade set will consist of 1371 pieces in total, and the description of the Lego website describes it as follows: “Recreate the barrel-launching and leaping action of the classic arcade game with this LEGO® Donkey Kong™ Arcade (72051) building set for adults. The model pays homage to the original arcade cabinet game and makes playful retro decor for your entertainment room or home office. It features Jumpman, Donkey Kong and Lady, plus iconic scaffold, ladder and hammer details. Pull the lever to release a barrel at a time, as if thrown by Donkey Kong. Then move Jumpman with the joystick and press the button to make him leap over the barrels.”
