It was only earlier today that we reported on the next GameCube title that’s set to be added to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack service, but before that happens, there are two games from an earlier Nintendo console that are set to be added to the Nintendo Classics catalog, when two Virtual Boy games come to Nintendo Classics on August 4th, 2026. And there’s something rather noteworthy about these two particular Virtual Boy titles: neither has previously been released!
The two previously unreleased Virtual Boy titles set to come to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on August 4 are the racing game Zero-Racers and the action-adventure title D-Hopper. Incidentally, the “D” in this case stands for “Dragon,” just in case you’ve got a dirty mind…
Last time we reported on the addition of Virtual Boy titles to the Nintendo Classics catalog, we observed that there were only ten more games from the Virtual Boy’s back catalog still to come to the service, but, as we reported when the Virtual Boy’s Nintendo Switch Online launch line-up was announced, Nintendo also planned to bring two unreleased Virtual Boy games to the service, and now we know when that will be – and it’s mere days from now!
