Pixel Art Deckbuilder Tower Tactics 2 Announced For Later This Year

Tower Tactics 2 is a new tower defence deckbuilder from developer asraworks and publisher Assemble Entertainment. The first game was released in 2023 and has had several new content packs released. In the sequel, the developer “is taking the acclaimed formula of the original and turning it up to 11, with deeper strategy, deck-bending synergies, a full map editor and endless replayability”.

Rather than reinventing the formula, Tower Tactics 2 evolves it in every direction. Players will build outrageous decks, deploy powerful towers and discover game-breaking synergies as they defend against relentless enemy waves. They’ll also experiment with Hero Cards, Trinkets, temporary effects, card items and powerful status effects like Burn, Poison and Frail while smarter enemies, fresh combat encounters and the brutal new Sector 4 ensure every run offers new strategic decisions.
