Blaze Entertainment is set to host a special live event in the UK to launch and preview their new Evercade Nexus handheld console, on which we have reported previously, most recently in its limited-edition Doom guise, which itself sold out just as quickly as tickets for this event did!
At the Evercade Nexus Community Event, attendees will get to be one of the first to try the new Evercade Nexus handheld, before it’s even made available to reviewers. Attendees can also meet the team behind the Evercade Nexus, with the opportunity to ask questions, and hear the story behind Evercade, and even the chance to take part in a Doom tournament. Blaze Entertainment is even laying on food and drink, including an Evercade-themed lager called ‘Nexus Nectar’.
Everyone who attends will also be given a free Evercade goodie bag worth over £100 GBP, which will contain: an exclusive Evercade Nexus bag; a mystery legacy cartridge; and a selection of Evercade collectables.
The Evercade Nexus Community Event is set to take place in London on September 10 2026, but if you didn’t buy your ticket yesterday, when they went on sale, you won’t be able to attend, sadly, as the event sold out within less than a day. So, why are we bothering to tell you about an event that you can’t attend? Well, the speed st which the Evercade Nexus Community Event is noteworthy because it highlights just how popular Blaze Entertainment’s retro-themed, cartridge-based Evercade format remains, more than five years after it first launched!
