Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess sings out from the Console Archives from Tomorrow

Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess has been announced as this week’s release in Hamster Corporation’s Console Archives line of emulated games from retro consoles for modern formats, following last week’s release of Touki Denshou Angel Eyes, on which we reported at the time.

Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess is the sequel to Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure, which has also been released as Console Archives title, as we reported previously.

Hamster Corporation says of the game, that it is: “set 12 years after “Rhapsody: A Musical Adventure”, and that, “this musical RPG follows Kururu—the daughter born to Cornet and Prince Ferdinand—as she sets off on a journey to find her ideal prince.”

Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess was originally released on PlayStation back in 1999, published by Nippon Ichi Software in Japan, and by NIS America in the rest of the world.

In addition to the original PlayStation version of the game, which is the version used for this Console Archives re-release, Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess has also been released on PlayStation 3, PSP, and, most recently, in 2023, on Steam.

The Console Archives version of Rhapsody II: Ballad of the Little Princess will be released from tomorrow (Augst 20, 2026) on Nintendo Switch 2 and PlayStation 5, priced at $14.99 USD or local equivalent.
