We’ve been following the release of Cattle Country, a cozy pixel art ranch sim from developer Castle Pixel and publisher Playtonic. We last reported on it last year when a new update was released. Now, another major update to Cattle Country launched today, introducing bandits, bounties, new equipment, and bug fixes.
Players can take on wanted outlaws, stumble across bandit camps while exploring the wilderness, and find themselves caught in the middle of unexpected shootouts around town. Away from the action, new tools and crafting equipment offer fresh ways to gather resources, customise your character, and make life on the frontier a little easier. Cattle Country is out now on Steam, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch.
