Earlier today, we reported on Last-Ditch Effort, a new pixel art game announced during yesterday’s Future Games Show at Gamescom 2026, but at the same show there are also an update on another game on which we have reported previously, namely The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival, the forthcoming pixel art brawler based on The Walking Dead, and yesterday (August 26, 2026) it was revealed that the Walking Dead villain that everyone loves to hate, Negan, will feature as a playable character in the game, and, of course, he’ll be armed with Lucille, his infamous barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat.
Inspired by the All-Out War storyline from AMC’s The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival will give players the chance to play as fan-favorite characters such as Rick Grimes, Daryl Dixon, Michonne – and yes – Negan, battling foes both living and dead across environments that fands will recognise from the AMC TV series and Image comics, such as the Sanctuary, Hilltop, Alexandria and more.
You can find more information and the latest updates on The Walking Dead: Streets Of Survival on Trailmark Games’ website, ahead of the game’s release for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 next month, on September 18, 2026.
