Jaleco Sports Faceoffs is a new collection of three Jaleco Sports titles from the NES and SNES, that’s set to be released from today on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with a PC release set to follow at a later date..
The new compilation is to be launched today (September 4, 2026), by Rock It Games, as the latest addition to its Jaleco Sports revival series (on which we’ve reported previously).
Jaleco Sports Faceoffs is a collection of three games from the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo, including the almost impossible to find or buy (it says here) NES hockey title, Pro Sports Hockey, which was originally released in 1993; and its SNES follow up, USA Ice Hockey, which was originally released in 1994; as well as the playground basketball titles Hoops; and Moero!! Junior Basket-Two on Two (NES, 1988-1989); along with Jaleco’s tennis “smashes”; Racket Attack and Moero!! Pro Tennis (NES, 1988-1994).
Jaleco Sports Faceoffs offers these three sports games for only $9.99 USD, or for just $7.99 USD for the first two weeks. That certainly seems like a bit of a bargain, when Pro Sports Hockey alone would apparently set you back over $400 USD – if you could even find it in the first place!
Jaleco Sports Faceoffs also includes the original game manuals, a VHS ‘rewind’ feature that lets you replay great moments during games, a retro TV CRT filter display option, and monthly leaderboards to let you compete against your friends and the rest of the world.
Jaleco Sports Faceoffs will be released from today (September 4, 2026), on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5, with a PC version set to follow “soon”.
