Pixel Art Autobattler Deck Beasts Deals Out A New Demo On Steam

Deck Beasts is a new pixel art autobattler from developer Constellation Studios, with a demo now available on Steam. The game combines creature collecting with autobattler mechanics that will allow players to draft beasts, abilities, items, and relics from a shop. They’ll then use them in squad battles against other players’ teams on a ranked ladder. As it stands, “over a hundred beasts have been added so far, with billions of possible build combinations”, according to the developer.

While the full game is due out at the end of 2026, Deck Beasts‘ new demo gives a good taste of what keen creature collectors can expect. Between runs, players build custom decks, tuning everything from which beasts turn up to which relics they can find. Or, they can jump straight into the action with a starter deck or a rotating weekly deck. Decks can be shared and swapped with other players.

Key features in Deck Beasts:

Draft beasts, equip abilities and items, collect relics
Tons of possible builds make for near-infinite replayability
Ranked asynchronous multiplayer — never wait for an opponent
Every beast is hand-drawn and fully animated
Custom decks, shareable with other players
Battles resolve in about half a minute; a run fits in one sitting
