The Metal Slug Ultimate Collection is a new compilation of no fewer than 10 of SNK’s iconic Metal Slug run ‘n’ gun games, that’s set to be released next year, on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, XBOX Series X|S, and Steam.
The 10 games set to be included in the Metal Slug Ultimate Collection are:
1. Metal Slug (1996)
2. Metal Slug Location Test Version (previously unreleased to public)
3. Metal Slug 2 (1998)
4. Metal Slug X (1999)
5. Metal Slug 3 (2000)
6. Metal Slug 4 (2002)
7. Metal Slug 5 (2003)
8. Metal Slug Advance (2004)
9. Metal Slug 6 (2006)
10. Metal Slug 7 (2008)
A previous Metal Slug collection, titled Metal Slug Anthology, collected Metal Slug 1-6 and X, and it was released on PS2, PSP, Nintendo Wii, and PC, between 2007 and 2009.
