Idle Bomb Animals is a new desktop app featuring pixel art animals that mine on their own. The game has been developed by Age Inc. and is out now on Steam, priced at $5.99 with an early bird discount of 20% currently running to celebrate the launch. In Idle Bomb Animals: Desktop Idle Mine, adorable animals such as Beagles, Long-tailed Tits, Calico Cats, and Penguins work together to develop mines, each taking on different roles including blasting, mining, and transporting materials.
The game runs in a compact window near the desktop taskbar, allowing players to enjoy it casually while working, studying, watching videos, or doing other activities on their PC. With more than 20 caves to explore, players can gradually expand their mining world by leveling up their animals, unlocking new caves, and building their museum collection, all while the game continues to progress in the background.
The release of Idle Bomb Animals coincides with another desktop pet app we reported on last week. Sill Dogs is also vying for pixel lovers’ pet attention and is also out on Steam. With all these pets running around, barking and mining on our desktops, how are we meant to get any work done?
