Moonfrost is a new retro-inspired cozy life builder from developer Oxalis Games and publisher iterco. It’s coming out on Steam Early Access on October 12th, 2026, and will cost $14.99. In the game, players will rebuild a broken community, forge relationships, and uncover the mystery of a second moon in what the developers describe as a “narrative-driven cozy life-sim RPG”.
Moonfrost pairs a relaxing slice-of-life experience with a strong overarching narrative. Players harvest, fish, forage, craft, and cook. While constructing and customize every detail of a town devastated by meteor storms. As a Frost Hunter, the player learns to harness the mysterious powers of Moonfrost, transforming the fallen meteors into a wide array of structures and creating order from the chaos. As the village comes back to life, so do the stories of the people who live there.
