High Roller Penny is a new pachinko-inspired roguelike from developer Kniv Studio Co., Ltd. It’s due to be released on Steam in the future, but a new demo has dropped that gives players a taste of what they can expect from High Roller Penny.
High Roller Penny is a pachinko-inspired roguelike about creating big numbers for your freedom and the happiness of your Bunny Girl. Players take control as a pathetic debtor who has been kidnapped by a bunny girl named Penny and taken to Yami-pachi, a shady underground gambling den for death games. Unfortunately for you, Penny is a high-stakes lunatic who cares for nothing but the High Roller, a special condition that pits two bunny girls against each other.
Players’ll need to build their best pegboard with special pegs, balls, and passive effects to reach legendary scores. Drop a ball down their pegboard and watch it fly, with every peg hit adding points to their score. Their chances of winning are slim, but either way, they don’t have much of a choice.
