Classic couch co-op adventure Kemono Heroes out now on PC and consoles

It doesn’t get any more retro when a pixel art title’s main feature is a four-player couch co-op. Originally released on Switch five years ago, Kemono Heroes is out now on Steam, Xbox and PlayStation and has been developed by Mad Gear Games and published by JanduSoft. Kemono Heroes offers a thrilling mix of old-school charm and modern gameplay, whether playing solo or in a team in local co-op for up to four players. The game features four playable characters, each with its own moveset and special skills, as well as four worlds, each containing unique challenges.

Kemono Heroes combines elements of run ‘n’ gun, fast arcade action with dashes and slashes, with cool and fluffy characters. Play alone, choosing between three difficulty modes to enjoy a real challenge. Or join forces with your friends in cooperative mode, fighting and helping each other to overcome any obstacles in your way.

The 16-bit-inspired run & gun action game will also be available in physical form on PlayStation 5 and Switch from Tesura Games. The Kemono Heroes Collector’s Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch includes a special collectors box, a full physical game, a reversible keychain, a CD with original soundtrack and a full colour 100-page art book.
