Combolands is a new pixel art city builder title that uses roguelike elements and eckbuilding to construct your cities. The game will be released on Steam and has been developed by Crux Games, that describe the game as “a synergetically satisfying deckbuilder where your cards are buildings, and your map is the deck”. There is a new demo of the game available now that was announced via a new trailer that explains some of Combolands features.
Players settle a series of handcrafted islands, carefully placing their buildings to unlock powerful synergies and trigger cascading combos. Return to the capital between runs and spend their earnings to unlock content, buildings, relics, bonuses, and more. Every run, players hone their strategy with a variety of different guilds, each with unique strengths and drawbacks. See how far your city can grow in endless mode, and if they beat every island, keep playing with an infinite procedurally generated level.
